This sample of studio work demonstrates sculptural constructions that reflect an ongoing interest in how we mediate our inner and outer lives--the abstract and the concrete. They explore themes of how we interact with our domestic spaces and environments and reflect/meditate/contemplate the ongoing tensions of our embodied selves as self actualizing, consciously aware beings.  They employ a mix of crafted and found objects. Found objects have an ability to speak to their history and yet are re-contextualized in the dynamic interactions of the sculpture while crafted objects offer a greater abstract distance.
